Post assignment blog post

Sitting in the quiet library. yes I've grown chubbier.

The production of a wonderful and freaking amaze-balls presentation I could ever make in my 18 years, has just ended. Kidding, all of my presentations are awesome ;D
Whilst waiting for my bestie/sister/girlfriend/mom/flatmate to finish her assignment so we could walk back our home sweet home, I've decided to write this forever-being-abandoned blog.

Holy sheeeeeeeet, time really do flies when you don't notice and being kept up with shit tons of stuff to do during university. I'm not that homesick anymore, but still do looking forward to the day I go home and momo jumps on me, too bad she's too small can't tackle me down, I wish she could.

I'm really glad that I chose Cardiff University during that phone call at 10am, when I was still sleeping. And thank god sleepy Alice chose the right decision. I'm really glad that I met the people here.
It's becoming kind of a thank-you blog post here.

Strolls in the middle of the night has always been one of my favourite thing to do. I haven't been doing it here because Cardiff is a new place for me and I don't really have the balls to go out much often alone, because of the things my parents had told me, there are many bad people who will try to rob you at night and bad things may happen to you and no one will know.
This scares the shit outta me since young.
It changes when there's someone who could accompany you for a walk. You will learn a lot of things on the journey to somewhere, talking to people and getting to know them, it's really fun.
I've learnt about a lot during these late night strolls.

Sometimes in life you may think, "Is this the right decision to do this?" And you may think, "Yea, fuck it, yolo." Well that happens to me a lot, and most of the time I ended up in a good place, which is very lucky. So I'm betting on my luck here again, in Cardiff.

And yes this is a pointless blogpost, cause there's not pen nor pencil or any pointy objects involved. Geddit geddit? lol ok sorry

Starting a new life in Cardiff University

Whew. My blog forever in hiatus mode.

So I'm back here again, cause I can. And I have nothing much to do now, whilst waiting my flatmate to be back from her induction programmes.

After my previous CNY + A levels update, been slacking the whole 9 months out of myself. Damn that was fun.
Went to HK with le dad, and had Australia + KL w le bestie, Sheryn.
Was supposed to make a comeback for my blog after the trip, but caught up with preparations for my further studies *cough, excuses*

Too lazy to update everything hereeeeeeeeee.
But just for the sake of updating something. Everything's in my Twitter and Instagram.

Here I am now, at Cardiff University, starting a new chapter of my life, as a university student.
Cardiff has been an interesting city for me, and most of the students I've met till now are friendly to me, which is a super good thing. I've been worried about people being unfriendly to me, and me being unable to make friends around, but everything went better than expected. Super glad that my flatmates are great and awesome too!
Also, thank you to past self for choosing Senghennydd Hall as my first choice. The location is really great since it's so near to my engineering block and to town! Which means I don't have to walk so much :P I always tell people that the place where I come from don't walk much, because all of us have cars, and heck, oil is well-knownly cheap in Brunei. Hence I always complain to my friends that the journey is long if we have to walk for 20 minutes or so.
Pubs and clubs are currently filled with freshers thanks to the fresher events. I have no idea how people can party for 2 weeks straight. I can't even stand 2 straight nights . fml. I only went for a club, and a live lounge. I prefer lounge than clubs to be honest.

Ok I guess that's my thoughts of the day . idk what am i typing also
I'm actually still in my PJs in my room.
Here's the proof.
My T-shirt is so cuteeeeeeee. thanks to le brother who bought it from Thailand.
And yes I was trying to mimic the face of the dog. HAHA #failed.

okay see you guys!
Ciao~

Happy (Belated) Chinese New Year to All!

Happy (belated) horse year everyone!
Thanks Google Images!

And may the horse be with you!
( F = ma
ma -> 马 horse in chinese) ha hah haha haha ha ok lame.
Hope you guys had a great CNY with all those angpaos you've been getting, all the money you win/lost from gambling and all the fun times you get to have with your friends.

Guilty for saying that I've been wasting most of my time, and not doing things that I find productive, other than the CF I've been working at, and university hunting.
But at least I've finished my kdramas, some of my Supernatural, TVD, Big Bang Theory and animes, I've been dying to catch up ever since A levels exams started. T_T
-otaku girl detected-
Yes I've stayed home for these few days cause I don't really want to go out and I'm kind of lazy to go out too, unless it's for a movie or hangouts with my buddies.

Before the start of CNY, I've been feeling for some changes in my appearance, so I decided to dye my hair into some colour I've never thought I would have on my hair.
My hair is really on a bad state. As people who have already met me before would have noticed that it frizzles and is quite rough and dry.
It took me a while to find a good and definitely-worth-the-price saloon to do my hair, thanks for few friend's recommendations - Essensuals Beauty Hair & Nail Spa
I've been there few times before, and so far, I've rated them 9/10 for their customer service. These people are so friendly (Filipinos are really goddamn friendly, to me at least) and I enjoyed talking to them.
And they chose for me an ombré/dipdye purple-ish red with my current brown hair.
CNY day 1 & day 3 outfit ^. from instagram. just go and follow me for more pics for more of me and my life hehehehehehe
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand please do remind me not to dye red again, cause it doesn't really suits my personality.
But they did a great job on the hair colour. :D

Moving forward, I finally have gotten my results after 10 days, 7 hours, 31 minutes of waiting after my registration to the SMS notification so I can know my results ASAP . YES IM THAT KANCHIONG THAT I TIMED HOW LONG IS IT TO COME OUT shushhhh
To be honest, at first I was quite shocked and mad cause it came to me in this way:
G.P = c
CHE = B
PHY = C
MAT = B
Dammit do you really have to put it out on this way? I felt quite cheeeeeeeeebaaaaaai cheeseburger when it was announced to me on this way. But I'm okay with it now la, really. It wasn't that bad if it was BBCc. (perspective eyyyyyy)
To my predictions I've made here, I only lost physics. So sorry I got a C for this T_T -cries-

Also!!!! There's still this worry about getting into a good uni with this grade? Is this sufficient? Will they accept me? Man, I still have to wait!!! :c
These waitings and expectations you get from your friends and relatives asking you "what's your next plans?" "where are you going for uni" kinda drives me crazy

Need a little runaway from reality for now. actually i'm kinda lazy to type now, hey it's 12.30AM.
-back to movies and animes-
ciao ~

Updates on my first few weeks of 2014!

This draft has actually stuck in here for days HAHAHA.
Pardon me for delaying due to the busyness I get from preparing for Chinese New Year, and also my laziness.

So, for the first few weeks of 2014, there's 2 highlights.

First of all,
Brunei's 13th Consumer Fair 2014 (8th Jan - 12th Jan)
The 13th consumer is being held in the ICC (International Convention Centre) and I've been working as part-time promoter for a company, Ten Ten Distribution, from Regent Square, Kiulap.
It was fun working with my colleagues, especially when ALL of them are fun and awesome people to hang out with!

Our group photos, taken from my Instagram.
Too lazy to post up individual ones HAHAHA.
It was a great working experience I had, working in such a big event. Learnt a lot of stuffs, meeting new people, and getting to know more about them was really fun!
My legs were very sore from standing whole day and mouth was super dry from talking and advertising about the products to the costumers. Ended up having sore throats, until now! :( boohoo!
But it's okay! Totally worth it hehe

Taken from Instagram too. W le Sheryn :D

The origin of this photo was actually a free giveaway. They were giving out 4 free eggs if you posted up photos of you with the signs provided, as shown in the picture.
So, why not take it?! IT'S FREE HAHAHAHAHA #cheapass much

During this event, Sheryn and I came across this booth, Malppy, a local online shopping site.
As online shopaholics, we definitely did check out their booth and their website.
The price was pretty moderate but with the quality of clothes they brought to their booths, it was pretty good and worth the price you paid for.
While our visit, they offered us free photo booth sessions as we signed up on their website.

-coughs- ignore the writing error HAHA apologies, it's malppy, not mapply

They also had the photos printed out immediately after we edit our photos. (how cool is that!)
The white doll Sheryn was holding is apparently Malppy's doll, and its so cuteeeeee!

And hi, meet Zul, a new friend, and one of Malppy's employee (I think?) ts
He's the one who's been guiding me and Sheryn around Malppy's booth haha!
I guess that somehow sums up my consumer fair experience.

Moving on, secondly, which isn't really a happy experience , and I really really really don't want to experience it ever again.
The first time I've Food Poisoning
Warning: Reader Discretion is Advised as it may contain things you find disturbing and would not want to imagine.
Somehow I got lucky because I didn't have it on the days that I'm working, but the day after my last day of work, I fell sick and feverish, and I thought it was just normal fever with sore throat, due to lack of drinking water and continuous talking.
Being a stubborn me, I refused to eat Panadol cause I never liked pills and refuse to depend on them, and hoping I could recover soon, by my own immune system.
But, things just got worse. Due to my fever, I don't really have appetite to eat. And I started puking out some sorta green liquid (eww yuck!) and pooping out water very frequently
I searched up Google because I was curious what I was puking out and it turns out to be bile juice that was created by my liver. The taste was unbearable for me, it's really bitter as it seems and leaves a super bad vomit taste on your tongue.
Ok lah maybe I should probably stop describing HAHAHA. Gives me chills whenever I think of it.

After puking and pooping literally water out, my body began to feel numb. A friend of mine suggested that it's due to the dehydration and my body is not absorbing any water I'm taking in. In the end, I have to be sent to the hospital at 9pm.
Thank god I didn't have to stay over at the hospital. I don't really like the atmosphere there.

I really hate going to the hospital :(

I had to put on this drip water so I can take in water into my body, since my body has been rejecting water out whenever I take it in.

I no likey needles :(
I was so nervous that I kept talking bullshits non-stop to my friend who brought me to the hospital.
I kept on talking and joking and laughing to calm myself down but in the end when I saw the needle I panicked and didn't want to put on this cause it looks so painful T_T
Luckily the pain was bearable.
Buuuuuut I was so scared that I didn't move my hand at all the whole time.
Had all kinds of wild thoughts that it might come out if I accidentally move my hand too hard and had to put it back in and other stupid stuff. D:

Hey don't judge me it's my first time going in to the hospital dripping water. T_T

And the amount is fucking HUGE.
My friend told me that it used to be much more smaller and so didn't have to drip so long. (that's why I came by because I thought it was gonna be like 30 min or so)
In the end, I had to stay in the hospital for 2-3 hours for the water to drip finish and finally got home after midnight.
This dripping water reminds me of those Chemistry titration practicals :X and it grinds my gears watching it drip slowly brr
I had to distract myself from looking cause its really scaring me, watching a tube connected to my hand wtf
Also, they took a blood test for me (faints, another needle poking into me) to further confirm that what I had was food poisoning, not other sickness like the currently-no-cure-for-this-mosquito-bite disease, the Japanese Encephalitis, which was trending in Brunei quite few months ago.
This hospital experience sucks, not because of the doctors or service is bad, but cause I really hate going to hospitals T_T

And whew, boy I typed quite a lot. HEHE
Chinese New Year is coming, but which also means that the releasing of results is also coming soon too!! ohmygoddddddd
so nervous about it! so many uncertainties and I really hope I can get good grades!!
Questions about my future kept popping up in my mind more and more frequently.
what if I get bad results? what if my results isn't sufficient to get in a good university? what if I wasted these 2 years and have to go on foundation year again?
It's like watching a horror movie, wanting to watch because of curiosity to the plot but scared of the effects and shits T_T
Ahhhh I wish time would go faster so I can stop feeling so anxious :(

Hello 2014!

Happy new year 2014, guys!
May joy and love and rain and sunshine be with you throughout the year hehe

Uh, I'm not gonna start this new year new me new resolutions new...
I don't know what else can it be new ._. this shit thing kinda gets old ever year and then =_=
People just don't get suddenly mature up and stuff, right?
It's like, you don't get suddenly grown up and know what to do with your own life once you hit 18. But I do really hope there is, cause honestly speaking I am really afraid and uncertain of my own future. T_T

Yep, pretty much sums up what I just typed.

I always have this guilty conscious with me whenever I just leave my blog on hiatus mode.
Aaaaaaaand look, it's been a year plus since my last update. LOL
But it's okay la, it's not like there's someone constantly checking my blog and see whether I did update something or not, right?
I mean, after all it's been a year. -trying to remove the guilty feeling- hehe

I should've typed this post on the first few days of 2014, as this is supposed to be a new year post? But it's still the first week of the year. So, close enough? ^^" Plus hor, you readers don't complain so much as this is my blogging comeback k . HAHA

There's a lot to update on my blog! Afterall, it's been a year :x

First of all, I am finally finished with my high school education, and soon, moving on to a whole new life soon, university. woohoo!

BUT, before that, damn .
I'M SO FREAKING WORRIED ABOUT MY EXAMINATION RESULTS AHHHHH DHNKANWVBASVANBNNNRV super kancheong la ermehgerd

I took my BGCE A Levels Examinations last year during October/November period
Trust me, I did not touch a single game,
and it's really suffering for a frequent gamer like me.
FOR. TWO. WHOLE. MONTHS, in order to make me fully focus in studying.
But as a full-time pro procrastinator, I managed to easily slack off a lot during that period. I, of course, regretting it badly now, and hoping that my results wouldn't be really bad. eeks

So, I'm gonna post here, my predictions of my own results.
I took 3 A-Level subjects (Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics) and 1 AS-Level subject (General Paper). duh, the Asian subjects. LOL.
And here, I'm overestimating my results, cause it's good to be positively minded, right?!

Mathematics;

Wrote this first because I kept telling people that this is my most confident subject I've been facing for these 2 years.
But, there is this one particular paper almost everyone is terrified of. Those who took Mathematics in A Levels should know which. And goddammit, the paper is really difficult and has crushed my confidence completely.
Also, I did not get to finish the papers and left 2 questions, which are worth a little more than 20/75 of the paper, blank. Yeah, fml.
So, therefore, my prediction for this subject is B3 .

Chemistry;

People would tend to say Chemistry is difficult to understand. But I prefer Chemistry more than Physics, honestly. Sorry, Sir B!
But yet, it's really difficult for me to understand some topics in Chemistry, been skipping my teacher's classes and sleeping too :X Her voice is too soothing and she never gets mad at us before. Ok now I'm feeling guilty for doing so. :( SORRY!
Ok, so for chemistry, I hope I can get a B3/B4.

Physics;

I swear, during these 2 years, I've met the most interesting lecturer in my life.
Dear Sir B, if you happen to be reading this, with 99.9999999% of possibility that you won't be anyway, you, Sir, is the best coffee-cher I've met in my life. And I really do love your classes! Thank you so much for giving me lots of reasons not to skip your class, nor sleep in it. LOL. You made physics seem even more interesting to me. Buuuuut I'm still sorry I don't have a high chance to get an A for you. Stay Awesome!
Prediction: B4

General Paper;

I wouldn't say much cause I really forgot how badly/greatly I did for my papers. I do roughly remember that I somehow wrote out-of-topic for my essay writing :x
And my English Language is quite bad too.
Somemore I always skip/sleep during classes.
Yes I know I love sleeping in class.
So, I would wanna bet my GP is getting a C5.

Yep.... Now I'm just gonna pray hard and burn 99999999 joss sticks to every God I know to let me have a pretty, beautiful results so I can get into a nice university.
I'm just kidding about the joss sticks, but have been hoping and wishing everyday tho.

I'm not gonna post up everything I've been doing for the past year, 2013.
So highlights would do, if that is I remember what I did. :X
Maaaaaaaaybe on the next blogpost. -being a lazy ass again-

Let's hope for the best!
